Last night I dreamt I took a spur of the moment trip to Flagstaff with Ian. I was driving, and videotaping the ride up, and sometimes I would mix up the view from the front window and the view from the camera, so finally I had to give the camera to Ian. It was really high up and really dangerous. The roads were incredibly steep (almost vertical) and skinny. We were driving higher and higher into the mountains, and we decided to stop at a Circle K. I skidded into the snow-covered parking lot (no crashes, unlike some other people that arrived at the same time) and we walked into the store. Immediately Ian and I saw the huge coat selection and realized we only had the thin shirts on our back. We were trying on jackets when we heard on the radio that the US government had just announced that 53 million dollars in US banks were printed on "bad bills" (?!), and that they'd removed these bad bills from the banks with no warning. And now everyone was checking their bank accounts to see if they'd been hit. Cloris Leachman and some other women were discussing this in the store, when the Brady Bunch walked in. Mr. Brady was wearing a red evening gown, and Mrs. Brady was dressed in a suit, and no one noticed. They greeted the people talking about the bank fiasco and Ian and I left. Then I woke up.

I've added a guestbook.

I was really sick yesterday and last night with some kind of 24 hour flu-like bug, but I think it's gone now. Weird. Maybe it was food poisoning. The site is coming along well. I'm working on it in my spare time, so it doesn't get as much attention as it should, but I'm glad there's been a lot of progress lately. I am still looking for a guest book.

There are still a few problems with the colors on the site, but I'll have them fixed in no time. I'm off for cocktails and music.

(Tuesday, May 21, 2002)

I am going to the August 10th, 11th and 14th Blondie shows. 10th and 11th are in Anaheim, 14th is in San Diego!

The new site is up, finally. Some of the pages are still not done, but you can read this Blog and see a few things. Pictures from the concert should be up soon - hi Stephanie! Both yours came out great! OK, I'm off to work on the house and go to sleep again soon. Sleep... ahhh...

Well the concert was great, Martin and the whole Berlin fan club gang were ultra-cool and the bands all kicked ass. I met Martha Davis after her set and she was so sweet and gorgeous and funny and friendly. I also finally met this Mick that Teresa's been going on about... :) Martin had set up a mini-party after the Berlin show, but unfortunately Terri Nunn had to take a plane back to LA and she stayed just a few minutes to chat before she had to go. The rest of her band stayed and had cake and champagne, the diet of rock stars apparently! Check out the pics on the Photography page soon.

Bad Dreams (Friday, May 17, 2002)

I'm up. I couldn't sleep very well.

I kept having dreams about the end of the world. Typical dream subject actually. I was in a castle way up high on a mountain. There were a lot of people there... must have been like a tourist attraction or a party or something. Anyway, some of my relatives were there too. It sounded like we were in the middle of a battleground. There were genades and fire arrows and machine guns. We were all trying to get out of the very steep castle and down to the ground, which was really far down. Then I heard a plane flying by, and I saw it... it was all glowing red. I expected it to crash into the castle, but instead it dropped a bomb and the entire sky turned red. I looked out the window and saw an ocean of lava coming at the castle, but right before it hit the window, I woke up.

Maybe I'll try and sleep a couple more hours.

OK, I'm going to try and go to bed...

(Friday, May 17, 2002)

I am going to see Berlin, Missing Persons and the Motels tomorrow with Martin from LA! :) And I have insomnia! Ugh!

Still way busy but I did get a chance to put up the older pages until I re-do the site. Basically all those shades of blue and purple were killing me. I don't know what's next, but I suspect FIRE... hint hint wink wink nudge nudge
